Same-Day Appointments Now Available!

Georgetown Medical is pleased to introduce "Same-Day Appointments" to our patients.

Same-day appointments provide value and respect for your time by giving you a scheduled appointment to see one of our providers. Patients who would like a same-day appointment may call the clinic and schedule a visit.

Same-day appointments are available Monday–Friday from 7:30AM–4:30PM to ensure that patients and their families receive attention for acute medical problems. Acute medical problems include the following: coughs, earaches, fever, flu or flu-like symptoms, sinus infections, sore throats, upper respiratory and urinary tract infections.

Appointments may be scheduled by calling (512) 763-4000.

Please note that a limited number of appointments are available each day, but every effort will be made to accommodate your needs. Thank you for choosing us to provide care for you and your family.

Information for New Patients

After you have selected your physician and you have scheduled an appointment, we will make preparations for your care. On your first visit please arrive 20 minutes early to allow time for us to register you in our system, prepare your medical record chart and obtain information on your medical history. We will need the names/addresses of other doctors who have treated you, unless you have already asked that your medical records be transferred to us from your former physician. If insured, you are required by your carrier to present your insurance card. When you arrive at the Clinic, our receptionist will assist with your registration. Your physician's nurse or medical coordinator will let you know when the exam room is prepared for you.

For your convenience, you may download, print and complete these forms prior to your visit. Please give them to the receptionist at the time of your appointment or fax them to 512-930-4946.

In addition to diagnosis and treatment of your medical condition, your doctor will generally schedule extra time during your first visit to discuss your personal healthcare goals and preventive health issues. If required, laboratory tests, x-rays or other medical services may also be performed in the Clinic during your visit. Most diagnostic tests are available in the Clinic, although you may be asked to return the following day if fasting laboratory tests are ordered. Later, your physician or member of our staff may call to check on your progress. However, please feel free to call us any time you need assistance.
